Postpartum Infant Feeding Support
A weekly drop-in support group to discuss breast/chest feeding or bottle feeding, learn how normal newborn feeding behavior presents in the first few weeks and throughout the postpartum. Learn how to recognize infant feeding cues, infant stomach size, and intake needs. Learn how to latch infant at the breast without pain, how milk supply grows, and how to know infant is getting enough. You will also learn when to seek help from a lactation consultant.

The free curriculum focuses on the Wellness of both the Mind and the Body and encourages exploration between the two. The curriculum is designed for girls ages 8 to 18 years of age. Classes are held every Wednesday at 5:00 pm at Roy Wilkins Recreation Center (Merrick Blvd. and Baisley Blvd.) All participants must commit to minimum of 12 sessions.
